Virtue Of the Week™ (VOW)
Virtue Of the Week (VOW) classes are based on the belief that each one of us is born with potential and can develop our positive natural qualities by "Nurturing the Gems Within."
The VOW program was developed due to the serious lack of materials available to help parents and educators develop critical character traits in children. To meet the needs of as many students as possible, VOW incorporates different learning styles and at the same time is fun and engaging. Another important goal of the program is to help students develop independence and a positive self image.
With this philosophy in mind, each week a new virtue is
explored. Through drama, games, story telling, music and art work, students are encouraged to realize and practice their virtues. Classes have been developed and adapted for children ages 3 to 14.
